What to Expect on Your First Visit

We know the dentist can be a little intimidating, but don’t worry – we’re here to make it as easy as possible. Here’s what happens when you come to Williams & Yeargan Dental for the first time.

Step 1

Arrival & Check-In

  1. Show up 10-15 minutes early so we can get any paperwork squared away.
  2. If you filled out your forms online, you’re good to go! If not, no worries – we’ll help you through it.

Your Appointment

  1. We’ll chat about your health history and any concerns you have.

  2. Our dentist will check out your teeth and gums, and if needed, we’ll take a few X-rays.

  3. You’ll get a gentle cleaning, and we’ll polish your teeth to make them shine!
Step 3

Payment

Payment is due at your appointment, and we accept cash, cards, and checks. If you need a payment plan for larger procedures, we can help with that too.

Insurance Coverage

We are an out–of–network provider for all insurance companies. This means we will verify your coverage and file your dental claim on your behalf. However, we cannot guarantee what your insurance will cover. You are financially responsible for any balance not covered by insurance. **Medicaid and Medicare: Please note that we cannot file claims for Medicaid (CareSource, Peachstate, Amerigroup, etc.) or Medicare plans.
